KATOWICE BAPTISM AND SPEAKING

We met at the Katowice Kaplica first then we
all went to the river side about 2 or 3 km away.
Last minute consultations and directions.
Sister Helena Urban gave a very fine talk on baptism
then the baptism was performed.
The riverside waiting for the baptism ordinance.
Elder Curtis, Tateusz Czechowski the new member,
Adrian Urban doing the baptism and Elder Dabrowski.
Elder Moon and Elder McGrath standing "guard"
of the "dressing room" after the baptism.
It was cool and the water was cold so we had to get
them out of their cold clothes quickly.
(The elders were really standing there to hold
the tarp down so it wouldn't blow up and show the
behinds.)
After they were dressed we continued with the
meeting. The missionaries sang a beautiful
rendition of "I am a Child of God".
Sister Allen gave a good talk on the Holy Ghost and
while she was speaking the rain came -
more than just a drizzle so the umbrellas also came out.
After the closing prayer the rain ended and we returned to
the church for refreshments and visiting.
Then we went to a nearby nalisniki place and
had our late dinner with the McGrath's
and the Elders from Katowice.
After church the next day there was a linger longer
that was delicious.
Always good food when the members help together.
Align CenterHere we are with Gosia who is the Relief Society President
in Katowice. She also worked on the committee
last year for the International YSA Conference with us.
She is an awesome young woman!!
Tadeusz was also confirmed today
as a member of the church.
Elder Moon helped with that ordinance.
He thought we were important people?!
We are just regular people
serving the Lord
as we serve the people in Poland.
