POZNAN

We have wanted to go to Poznana and Gdansk

and with the Presidents permission we tookoff one

Monday afternoon to see the land to the north.

In Poznan we met the missionaries and took them

to dinner at a restaurant near the Church.

Here we are with Sister Smith, Elder Torke, Sister Moon,

Elder Moon, Elder Fritzsch, Sister McAdams.

After dinner they had FHE so we went sighseeing

around the Rynek or Town Market Square.

Many areas for selling all kinds of wares.

Statues are aplenty!!

The umbrellas which are a sign of warm weather

are called beer gardens are are extensions of

eating establishments in the buildings

so food or drink can be enjoyed

in the pleasant open air.

The next morning we met with Elder Torke and

ELder Fritzsch to say good-bye. We worked with

Elder Torke in Lodzlsast summer and he will

go home in a month to Germany so we

took the opportunity to say farewell to a great Elder.

He has been serving as a branch president in Poznan.
