KSIAZ CASTLE

On PREPARATION day after study and laundry
we met the other district members at the BUS
station to go to Ksiaz Castle near Walbrzech.
We bought tickets and ran to the bus for the
two hour ride to Walbrzych.
There we walked several blocks and found the bus
to Ksiaz.
Here we are on the bus to the castle.
Elder Marsing, Sister Sheets, Elder Tribe,
Elder Johnson, Elder Darowski and Elder Moon
Entering the gate to the castle grounds.
Sister Sheets and Elders Tribe, Marsing, Darowski,
Johnson and Moon
ELDERS ARE BOYS
RUNNING AND JUMPING!!!
Look at the roots on this tree!!
Around the bend we get our first glimpse of the
CASTLE!
The Castle
Elder Moon strapped to the cannon.
At the KASA - ticket counter.
Great decisions take time in coming as we ponder
what kind of ticket we need, want, require --
do we qualify for student, senior or regular?
do we want a guide or can we find our own way?
and can we decide our own information?
Walking down a hallway--
Elder Moon. Sister Sheets, Elders Johnson,
Darowski, Tribe (behind E Darowski), Marsing.
After the call that we ARE going and trying to convince
the rest of the district to MOVE ON OUT
Elder Tribe and Elder Marsing "patiently" waiting
for everyone to leave.
A view from the hill top where the castle looks out over the beautiful countryside.
On the path down the side of the hill
with the beautiful gardens there is a
watch tower.
GORGEOUS area.
Nice backdrop for a picture.
A hollow tree also is a nice backdrop for a picture.
A horse and carriage passing by. There is a
stud farm nearby.
Another bus taking us into town for the trip home.
It was faster to take the train home and we had less time
to wait for departure so we needed tickets from
the dworzec.
More DECISIONS!!
Just us on the train car.
We each had our own seat.
Countryside on the trip back home.
In a pamphlet we bought it said the pictures taken
in the castle could not be published in any form so I
thought it probably would be illegal to put the
pictures from inside the castle on here so
just believe me it was a lovely castle.
We may go back and see the 12 beautifully terraced
gardens that go down the hillside.
