BOTANICAL GARDENS

On a recent preparation day we did the

laundry, cleaned the apartment, studied and

then said let's do something today.

We called Sister Sheets and then we went to the

Botanical Gardens in Wroclaw.

Enjoy the lovely pictures

Here is a statue and plaque in the Gardens.
I took the picture for our Linne'.

Elder Moon overshadows the beauty of
this beautiful flowering bush.

There are ponds and bridges,
cascades and sculptures throughout the 7.4 ha garden.
Here we saw a large gold fish passing by.

Standing on a bridge by a cascade. Lovely background!!
The garden was made in 1811 as a scientific area
of the University of Wroclaw.

A pond and bridge. It was gorgeous.
There are about 11,000 species of plants.
There are also 20 petrified tree trunks.

This is a striped candy flower. It was prettier than this shows.

A large flowering tree.

One of my favorite flowers. Notice the number of blooms together.

This is white of the same flower.

These are the same type of flower before blossoming.
I had never seen this type before and I liked them.

Look closely at the guest on this flower!
In the garden area there are also a palm house

with tropical and sub-tropical plants, a cacti house

with over 2,500 specimans and aquariums with

fresh water and bog plants.

We'll see those another day!!
