After a rainy week in June there was a
BRANCH GRILL
at the Call Home and hour and a half from Wroclaw.
They have a large yard and fun games.
They had some balls and bats and two mitts -
so we played with the softer ball and had a game of
work-up although it really was a sort-of work-up.
The missionaries were the ONLY
ones who had ever played ball.
Adam was the catcher for a while although he didn't
really need the mitt and wasn't sure how to use it anyway.

more of a hindrance than a help.
Elder Darowski at bat could sure hit the ball.
Once a really fast line drive to my neck and later one to
Elder Moon's leg.
and also was super at that.
He said he loves to cook on the grill.
Chicken and kielbasa was the fare for the day.
were the grill watchers to be sure it was all done right.
There was plenty for everyone!!
A good mixture of Polish and American.
The bigos today was exceptionally delicious
and the cottage cheese salad was, also.
President Pawlik and his family came from far away -
about 4 hours and he gave a good message on the
Ksiega Mormona.
Sister Zan and Cindy Call sang a duet also.
Their voices blend together wonderfully!!
After eating and more games were starting the
rains came again so it was inside for the message.
When he was through the rain had quit and we
were able to go back outside for more fun games.
Pawlik's also stayed over and attended the branch
on Sunday and there he also gave a very good
talk about the Book of Mormon.
Elder Moon was the judge or started.
The children just barely won.
