One thing we were concerned about coming on a mission
was missing the children and grandchildren and
missing out on important events in their lives
and thus our lives.
We are so thankful to modern technology that
helps us stay in touch with home.
If any of you reading this blog
(and there aren't many of you I think)
who may think you can't serve a
mission because of the missed events
re-consider!!
We ARE a part of their lives and activities!!
Here again are some of the "events"
we have been part of yet missed.
for her blessing!!
What a great day and we were a part of it!!
and that was enough dog for Mom and Dad
and the boys loved it!!
Here is Brock telling ua about Jacob's new glasses!
Then we come to the "NEW" movements!!Demarie has become a pro with the
HOOLA-HOOP!!
And we saw her in action!
Preslyn - not to be outdone -showed us her TUMBLE act!!
And we were part of it!!
Then we have Hallie! WOW!Her one handed CARTWHEEL was phenomenal!!
She hasn't had any tumbling but whipped this out
several times for us.
(I can't remember what she called it but we called it
A cartwheel when I could do it!!)
And we were really excited to see it!!
Marlaina put Broyden on the floor to show us howhe could stand by himself and he WALKED
taking his first alone steps!!
We were the FIRST to see him shine at this!!
Cathy is always so cheerful! She cheers us whenwe talk to her.
Marlaina, Aaron,Broyden, Preslyn Demarie
Togetherness for a picture!!
Preslyn pulling a face for us to laugh.
Alyssa and Brock sharing their day with us.He loves his POLSKA shirt!!
What a great day when we talk with them!!
Today they sang for us,
Today they sang for us,
one of my favorite Primary songs "Scripture Power"
LOVED IT!!
heart necklace for Demarie when the fairy
was so late coming after she had lost her tooth!!
We are a part and enjoy every minute of their visits.
In fact some of these events we would probably have
missed EVEN if we had been home.
GRANDMAS AND GRANDPAS SERVE A MISSION
IT IS WORTH IT!!!!
