BUTCHER STALLS

Since medieval times this area
contained stalls to sell meat.
At the end of the 1900's it became an
area for art galleries and other
markets.
These life sized statues brass figures on the
path made from field stones
commemorate the use of this area.
These are titled:
"To Slaughter Animals"
Here you also see Sister Sheets and Darota.
The animals in front of the shops or markets
for selling.
There are many tales or stories of evil and good -
or the devil and good. One is about a chicken,
the devil and the moon.
Of course that is reason for this picture.
