STREET WHITE BOARDING

One way of contacting people who may be interested in hearing about the

Church of Jesus Christ

is to set up a white board on the sidewalk in

an area with a lot of foot traffic. We then put a question of

interest on the board and invite people to

give their answwer and we keep track of the

answers on the board.

This gets people to stop and talk and then

we tie the question into more questions or comments

which lead to discussions about the Gospel or the

Book of Mormon.

This is Sister Powles and Elder Attebery ready

with a question.

We usually say, or I should say some of us

(those who don't do the language very well),

"Mam pytanie dzisai." Hopefully someone will stop

but most just pass on by.

Another popular first question is,

"Do you speak English?" Then we can go on with the

question on the board or be brushed off.

The questions sometimes are silly and sometimes

very serious and related to the Gospel.

The important part is something that will interest

people enough to stop and talk.
Some will just answer and quickly move on.

We have taught several from this contacting.

Answers range from, "Nothing" to "Everything".
