PARKING TICKETS IN LODZ

We have seen many parking tickets given to cars parked on our street.

But this time we were on street level and had our camera.

On this day there were two men working together.

In order to park in most areas in town you must pay a

parkomat machine to get a slip of paper showing

the time you parked and how long you have paid for.

The parkomay machine is the

white form with the red top by the building.

This is put on the dashboard on the drivers side in good view.

When they come by to check and if you qualify

for a parking ticket they note the time

on the machine by getting a parking paper.

They take a picture of your ticket or lack of a ticket

through the front window.

They also take a picture of your license plate and car

and then they package it in apacket on your window.

You then must take it to the parking ticket place

and pay the ticket which is 100 zlotys.

walking down the street!! No uniform or whatever.
