VISITING OUR FRIENDS

The door to our friends apartment.

They lived on the second floor of a large apartment building.

of the brown door contains the doorbell for the

apartments in this section of the building.

After you ring the buzzer the person in the apartment

pushes a button and you can talk to them

then they push a button and the door is allowed

to open to let you into the building. Great idea!!

These are our friends. We visit them each week.

Michel is 10 and is learning to speak Elnglish.

He does well but is shy to speak to us.

Joanna (or Asia) is the mother. She works and

goes to school and takes English classes.
Hubert is 15 and speaks English very well.
He interprets for his mother when we visit if she

isn't sure what we say or what she should say to us in English.
They are good people!!
