SNOW DAY CAKE

and his wife Agata have a tradition

that is simply a fun one to look

forward to every winter!!

On the day of the first snow fall,

and it has to stay on the ground,

she makes the snow day cake.

It is a delicious chocolate cake

with a pudding filling and topped with

snow (powdered sugar).

Looks like snow on the ground.

She only makes this cake once a year

and it takes her hours to make so

it is worth wishing for the first

snow fall to get it.

We were invited the week before the first snow fall

to come to the big event so when it snowed we went

to their home for the cake.
I amnot sure which was the best - the cake

or the visit with these great people.
