OUR APARTMENT IN WARSAW

The description of this picture and why it is here is later in the post see the picture here and read about it later.
This is the dish washer. It really worked quite well and was very speedy to do the dishes after every meal or cooking experience.

The cabinet to the left is the refrigerator and the small door above is the freezer.

Notice the mobility of the dish washer as it can move about the kitchen to
wipe the counters and table!

This is our bed. It has wooden slats that go from the side of the bed to the middle from both sides. The mattress is about 4 inches deep. We can move and not bounce the other person in bed. The red covering is a lovely tapestry or the like I found in the shelf unit in the front room. I put it over the bed because it was red and reminded us of the Christmas season. The door on the other side of the bed opens onto the balcony. You can barely see the air conditioning unit in the corner to the left. We haven't had to use it yet as it is winter and cold outside. Although I did think of using it for the dryer fan on the last day we were here.

This is the clothes dryer very conveniently placed in the masteer bedroom. We would never have to fold the clothes if we didn't want to as we could just take them off the dryer as we needed them. The shirts dry better and don't take up much room
if we hang them on hangers to dry.
Also notice the chair in the hall. To the right out the door is the kitchen/front room and to the left is the door to the hall closet where Sister Moon hangs her clothes
and also a shelf unit for the folding clothes.
Around past the front of the chair is the door into the outside hall and elevator and the wall straight ahead is the bathroom doorway.

The walk in closet for Sister Moon's clothes.

To the right is another closet door with shelves for the folding clothes.

The closet doors. Sister Moon's closet is the door on the left and the shelves are behind the door to the right. In the corner are shelves for other items and the vacuum is there also.

Now to the bathroom/laundry area.

Here is the very suitable bath and shower area. Give special note to the perfectly hung shower head that Elder Moon hung. Duct tape is even used in Poland!! We were going to get a drill to hang it properly but didn't have the opportunity to find one. We didn't hang this until we had been here for three weeks then the idea came that we could maybe hang it. The landlord gave us permission to drill into the tile to hang the shower head but we didn't find a drill. Had we stayed longer we would have drilled and hung it properly.

Here is our toilet. Notice the very nice tile walls. The toilet sets out from the wall far enough to make it easy cleaning behind.

This is the laundry corner with the sturdy hamper in front. We really didn't need a chute in this apartment so there is no slide and hide place for kids. The heat radiator is conveniently hung on the wall and we never had to use it because it was warm in this room. The washer is placed in such a way as to also be the toilet paper holder giving way to the worry one might have about which way the paper unwraps on the roll!!

Our conversation "pit", scripture reading center and comfortable, relaxing family area.
Give special notice to the family photo display on the wide window sill next to the lovely but life struggling plant on the left. It did look better when we left than when we came.

NOTE: I ACCIDENTLY ERASED THE PICTURE THAT GOES HERE AND BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PUT IT BACK IN HERE AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO ERASE EVERYTHING TO PUT IT WHERE IT BELONGS (AS I KNOW HOW TO DO THAT) I HAVE POSTED IT AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS POST. SEE IT THERE AND THEN READ ABOUT IT HERE!

This is the beautiful cabinet in the front room. There are a lot of shelves, open and with doors and a nice one with glass doors where the lovely cups were stored. There is also a lovely closet area where Elder Moon hangs his clothes and ties. It is so nice to have them in the front room so he can at anytime without much effort select his suit, shirt or tie for the day. Usually this door was closed.

This is the computer center. There is a printer on a small printer table to the right of the computer table where we can print items for the Center and other items needed. The door to the right opens onto the balcony. The computer is by the couch where Sister Moon can lounge while she tells Elder Moon what to do on the computer.
